The ruling for an unregistered divorce in the presence of witnesses

The ruling for an unregistered divorce in the presence of witnesses

Answer

This is a first revocable divorce. The marriage ends with the expiration of the idda [waiting period] if your son does not take back his wife. This divorce is sound and compatible with Islamic law.
And God the Almighty knows best.
