Global Scholars and Muftis Arrive in Cairo to participate in Dar Al-Ifta 11th International Family Conference

International delegations participating in the 11th International Conference of Egypt’s Dar al-Ifta and the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide have begun arriving in Cairo ahead of the conference, scheduled for September 2–3, 2026, under the auspices of H.E. President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. Held under the theme “Family Challenges amid Major Global Transformations,” the conference brings together leading muftis, scholars, and religious figures from around the world to address pressing challenges facing the family.

Among those arriving to participate are H.E. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Chief Justice of Palestine and Adviser to the Palestinian President for Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations; Sheikh Mohammed Radwi bin Mohammed Ibrahim, President of the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama, Sri Lanka ; Sheikh Hafiz Shakir Fatau, Chief Ulama and Mufti of North Macedonia; Sheikh Rifat Fejzic, Grand Mufti and President of the Islamic Community of Montenegro; Dr. Amer Shakir Al-Janabi, President of the Sunni Endowment in Iraq; and Dr. Arshad Mohamed, Mufti of the National Jamiatul Ulama of South Africa.
