Removing body hair for women, is it permissible?

Question

If a married woman has body hair, is she allowed to have it waxed/lasered by a trustworthy person? As her intention is to be clean and please her husband. These days shavers are so bad and the hair grows much thicker and can become seriously irritable and thus make a person become emotionally sick.

Answer

When it comes to removing woman's body hair whether married or not, it is permissible and there is no legal objection even if this involves the entire area of the 'awra [parts of the body that must be concealed] with the intention for the married woman to please her husband and help him remains chaste.
