Uzbekistan’s Grand Mufti, Sheikh Nuriddin Khaliq Nazar, was presented with the Imam Qarafi Prize for Excellence in Fatwa during the opening session of the 11th International Fatwa Conference in Cairo. He said the award recognizes Uzbekistan’s religious efforts and its contribution to advancing contemporary fatwa, while calling for stronger international cooperation among Islamic scholars and institutions to address rising divorce rates and the growing challenges facing families worldwide.
