The Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawki Allam received today a high-level delegation from the Council of Indonesian Ulama to investigate the means of enhancing cooperation between Dar al-Ifta and Indonesia.

During the meeting, Dr. Allam informed the delegation that Egypt’s Dar al-Ifta has the honor to receive and train the Indonesian students on fatwa issuance. He added that the Dar is completely ready to cooperate with the Council of Indonesian Ulama to provide them and the students with all the legal knowledge they need in this respect.

From their part, the delegation’s members expressed their appreciation to the Grand Mufti and Dar al-Ifta for the tireless efforts they exert to promote sound religious knowledge and combat extremist ideologies.
