In a news statement issued on Sunday, December 23, 2018, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawki Allam mourned the victims of Tsunami that hit Indonesia’s West coast leaving 222 dead and around 800 injured.

Dr. Allam expressed his deepest condolences to Indonesia’s government, people and families of the victims. He supplicated to God Almighty to shower the victims with His mercy and give their families patience and solace.
