The inquirer asks, “If I miss an obligatory prayer and the call for the next prayer is made, which should I perform first: the current obligatory prayer or the missed one?”

If a Muslim misses an obligatory prayer, he must make it up. He should not perform the current obligatory prayer before the missed one, but perform the missed prayer, followed by the current one if there is sufficient time. However, if there is not enough time, he should pray the current prayer first to attain the reward of congregational prayer, and then make up the missed prayer afterwards.
