Is there any way for a woman to return to her husband after a third divorce without a muhallil[1]?

 

 

If a man gives his wife a third and final divorce, she is no longer lawful for him according to the four schools of Islamic jurisprudence until she enters into a marriage that is valid under Islamic law with another man, the marriage is consummated, he subsequently divorces her, and she completes the waiting period (‘iddah) following that marriage. There is no lawful way for her to return to her first husband other than this.
