Is there sunnah/quranic basis of blowing on the water after reciting certain prayers so that water can cure ailments for the one who drinks it?

There is no harm if a Muslim recites the Qur`an and then blows into the water before drinking it, by way of blessing and seeking a cure. However, this does not mean refraining from visiting specialized physicians since Allah the Almighty is the one who legislated taking all possible protective procedures.
