I would like to know fatwa about uterus transplantation. In Islam, is it permissible to transplant mother's uterus to her daughter? Please provide me with a detailed Fatwa.

One of the matters decided upon by Islamic legal councils is the impermissibility of transplanting organs which transmit genetic traits such as the testis. Uterus transplantation is one of the matters which falls under this category. If physicians determine that the uterus transmits genetic traits, then it is prohibited to transplant it; otherwise it is permissible.
