Question

Is praying mandatory for a dying person who goes through a state of unconsciousness and then regains his consciousness?

Answer

Such a person should pray in whatever manner is possible for him if he regains consciousness. Otherwise, he is exempted from prayer as God the Almighty says: “On no soul doth God Place a burden greater than it can bear[2: 286].
And God the Almighty knows best.
