Egypt’s Grand Mufti, Dr. Nazir Ayyad, received Ms. Hala Youssef, Egypt’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, at Egypt’s Dar al-Ifta. The meeting underscored Dar al-Ifta’s leading scholarly and religious role in promoting moderation and a balanced religious discourse, as well as the vital role played by Egyptian diplomatic missions in representing the state abroad.

Ambassador Youssef, in turn, commended Dar al-Ifta’s esteemed regional and international standing as a trusted national religious authority that promotes the values of tolerance and human coexistence. Both sides emphasized the importance of sustaining institutional communication in a manner that reflects the national mission of Egypt’s state institutions.
