Dr. Shawky Allam, the grand mufti of Egypt, received a high-level Omani delegation at his office headed by Sheikh Ahmad Ibn So’ud al-Siaby, Secretary General of the directorate of the Grand Mufti of Oman. The aim of the visit was to promote religious cooperation in the field of religious edicts.

The grand mufti said that Dar al-Ifta` al-Misrriyyah is an inveterate and independent institution that follows the Azhari moderate methodology which it seeks to spread all over the globe.

The Omani delegation expressed its interest in increasing its cooperation with Dar al-Ifta` al-Misrriyyah and benefitting from its scholarly, administrative, and technical experiences.
