The Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawki Allam, received the Yemini minister of Endowments (Awqaf), Dr. Ahmad Attiyah, to investigate the means of fostering mutual religious cooperation.

During their meeting, Dr. Allam stressed that Egypt’s Dar al-Ifta is completely ready to cooperate and provide Yemen with the religious knowledge on fatwa issuance and muftis training as part of fostering the Egyptian-Yemini relations at all levels.

From his part, the Yemini Awqaf minister praised Egypt’s Dar al-Ifta efforts in combating extremist ideologies and promoting sound religious knowledge.
