Egypt's Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam received on Sunday a high-level religious delegation from Russian Muftis Shura Council headed by Sheikh Roshan Abbasov, Deputy Mufti of Russia, to investigate means of enhancing mutual religious cooperation.
During their meeting, Dr. Allam presented to the delegation Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta efforts to encounter extremist ideologies and explained work mechanisms to serve Islam and Muslims worldwide.

From his part, Sheikh Roshan praised Dar Al-Ifta's efforts and expressed his interest in cooperating with the Dar regards providing Imams with the necessary scholarly training to combat extremist narratives.
