Dar al-Iftaa strongly condemns the calls to include the cartoons depicting Prophet Muhammad in Danish educational curricula
Egypt’s Dar al-Iftaa has strongly condemned the calls to include the cartoons depicting the Prophet of mercy [peace and blessings be upon him] in Danish educational curricula.
Dar al- Iftaa added in its statement that these extremist calls spread hatred within the Danish community which includes more than 359, 000 Danish Muslims who are inseparable from the Danish community.
Dar al-Iftaa further called upon the western communities not to ignore the rights of their Muslim citizens and to respect their feelings and sanctuaries in order to promote the culture of peace and coexistence inside the communities.
Dar al- Iftaa pointed out that Islam guarantees the freedom of expression without abusing the sanctuaries of other religions or inciting violence and hatred.
