Egypt's Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam, received Kazakhstan’s ambassador to Cairo, Mr. Khairat Lama Sherief, on Thursday morning,  to extend warm felicitations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and discuss means of religious cooperation between the two countries.

His Eminence Dr. Shawki Allam also announced, during the meeting,  that the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide is to held its international annual conference on “The Role of Fatwa in Promoting Sustainable Development” next October, 2022, in coincidence with climate change summit planned to be held in Egypt's Sharm Al-Sheikh.
