In his statement on the International Day for Ifta, Egypt's Grand Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam thanked the honorable scholars and Muftis around the world for bearing the immense responsibility of fatwa issuance, asserting that fatwa authorities are facing challenges that are unprecedented in Islamic history.

Dr. Allam noted that the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide units the institutional efforts in fatwa issuance and provides ambitious visions that the Islamic nation needs in our modern times.
