The international media greatly appreciated the speech of Dr.Shawki Allam, Grand Mufti of Egypt, delivered Tuesday at the European Parliament.  International newspapers including Il Giornale, In Terris, Adriano Busolin and Tgcom24 stressed Dr.Shawki's prompt condemnation of Brussels terrorist attacks occurred Tuesday morning. Dr.Shawki Allam is regarded as one of the prominent world religious figures.

Tgcom24, the widely read newspaper in Italy, quoted the Grand Mufti, "It is not enough to say that Islam is the religion of peace. It is necessary to work on tangible steps to block the means before religiously deviant minorities." He added that there is no way to combat terrorism except though international cooperation and joint efforts.
