Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta, under the leadership of Dr. Nazir Ayyad, launched a training program titled "Jurisprudential Qualification and Fatwa Management: Balancing Tradition and Modernity," aimed at Malaysian scholars. The event, attended by Dr. Osama Al-Azhari and the Mufti of Terengganu, Dr. Mohammad Sabri bin Haron, focuses on equipping scholars with modern tools for fatwa management while maintaining traditional jurisprudence.

Dr. Ayad highlighted the significance of collaboration between Egypt and Malaysia, and Dr. Al-Azhari described the program as part of a wider initiative to share Egypt’s rich jurisprudential expertise. The training encompasses lectures, workshops, and discussions designed to address contemporary challenges in issuing fatwas.
