Wet cupping [hijama] is among the permissible matters in Islamic law. It was practiced during the time of the Prophet [pbuh] and he did not repudiate it; rather, he himself underwent cupping. 

Cupping is a kind of treatment which was in practice until recent times. Dar al-ifta recommends taking the advice of trustworthy physicians and adhering to their recommendations before undergoing cupping.
