Are we allowed to eat sea creature while we know that some fish eat other fish?

According to the majority of the Sunni scholars, it is lawful [halal] to eat all marine creatures. There is a disagreement over eating frogs and turtles, but the majority of scholars prohibit it because they are not categorized as marine creatures. It was mentioned that some scholars permitted eating them and there is no objection to following this opinion.
