Are Muslims allowed to eat at the homes of the Christians?

Question

Good Day
I want to ask if there is any thing in Islam that instructs the Muslims not to eat at the Christians. Are Muslims not allowed to eat at their homes?

Answer

Sharing food with anyone from among the people of the Book [Ahl al-Kitab] is permissible in Islamic law according to the words of Allah Almighty in Qur'an,
The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them. [Qur`an 5: 5.)
Likewise, Allah Almighty commanded Muslims to treat the people of the Book kindly and maintain good ties with them in general except for those who fight against Muslims. Allah Almighty says in Qur'an,
Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly. Allah only forbids you from those who fight you because of religion and expel you from your homes and aid in your expulsion - [forbids] that you make allies of them. And whoever makes allies of them, then it is those who are the wrongdoers." [Qur'an 60: 8-9].
