What are the Sunnah prayers performed for Friday prayer?

Scholarly opinions on performing sunnah for Friday Prayer. There is sunnah prayer performed before and after the obligatory Friday prayer.

Hanafi scholars

Hanafi scholars maintained that the number of sunnah rak'as performed before and after Friday prayer is four rak'as. This is the recommended opinion based on the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "Whoever of you wants to perform sunnah prayer after Friday prayer, let him perform 4 rak'as".

Shafi'i scholars

The least number for sunnah rak'as before and after Friday prayer is 2; however, it is recommended to perform four rak'as before and after it.
