Egypt's Mufti Receives Palestine's Chief Justice to Enhance Religious Cooperation
His Eminence Dr. Nazir Mohamed Ayyad, Grand Mufti of Egypt, President of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, received Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Chief Justice of Palestine and Advisor to the Palestinian President for Religious Affairs, to discuss mutual coordination between religious institutions in addressing contemporary challenges. The Grand Mufti reaffirmed that the Palestinian cause remains the Arab and Muslim world's foremost priority, stressing the need to uphold truth and justice while confronting misinformation and double standards.
He also highlighted the growing threats to family values and identity, noting that the upcoming International Fatwa Conference will focus on developing a unified scholarly vision to safeguard the family and address contemporary intellectual and moral challenges. Dr. Al-Habbash praised Egypt's religious institutions, particularly Al-Azhar and Dar al-Ifta, for their steadfast support of the Palestinian cause and reaffirmed the importance of defending Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque amid the ongoing challenges facing the Palestinian people.
