Egypt's Dar al-Ifta is chosen to lead training in fatwa issuance in Algeria
Pursuing its major role in global outreach to spread moderate true Islam, the Algerian ministry of religious affairs and endowments has chosen Egypt's Dar al-Ifta to provide training to 50 Algerian Imams on fatwa issuance.
His Excellency Mr.Mohamed Issa, minister of religious affairs and endowments in Algeria has announced on Sunday evening that the national Fatwa committee in Algeria will hold a meeting during the upcoming month of September to nominate 50 Imams to receive training on fatwa issuance at Egypt's Dar al-Ifta.
From his part, Dr. Ibrahim Negm, senior advisor to the Grand Mufti of Egypt, declared that the choice of the Algerian ministry of endowments to train the 50 Imams at Dar al-Ifta reflects the great credibility that Muslims worldwide place in the Dar. He added that Egypt's Dar al-Ifta will witness a great major progress in the coming phase through regulating the process of fatwa issuance and providing more fatwa services to Muslims worldwide.
