Dr.Shawki Allam, Egypt's grand mufti, has delegated Dr.Ibrahim Negm, senior advisor to the grand mufti, to represent Dar al-Ifta in the conference on coexistence among religions and cultures.

The conference, to start Tuesday in the Greek capital, Athens, will give Dar al-Ifta the opportunity to represent its experience in promoting interfaith dialogue and coexistence among different faiths and cultures.

Before traveling, Dr.Negm confirmed that participating in this conference is considered an international acknowledgement of the efforts exerted by Dar al-Ifta and the grand mufti in the field of fatwa issuance and global outreach to spread the culture of tolerance and mutual religious support among the peoples. And to eliminate the rising of hostile discourse against Islam and Muslims.
