Dr. Shawqi Allam –the grand mufti of Egypt- vehemently condemned the heinous terror attack took place in the courtyard of Sultanahmet in Istanbul, which left 15 dead and others were injured.

In a statement, the grand mufti of Egypt emphasized that terrorists did not preserve the sanctity of the houses of God in addition to shedding the blood of innocent victims.

The grand mufti offered his deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
