The Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr.Shawki Allam, traveled this morning to Germany’s city of Bonn in response to an official invitation from the United Nations and University of Bonn, one of Europe’s largest universities to conduct a lecture on “Islam, contemporary issues and the future of religious-cultural dialogue”.

In a news statement issued by Dar al-Iftaa this morning, Dr.Ibrahim Negm, Senior Advisor to the Grand Mufti, stated that the Mufti’s lecture in Bonn University is the first in a series he will conduct in the world’s leading universities including Oxford, New York, Bangkok, Latin America and Australia to promote the sound true image of Islam and combat Islamophobia.
