Dr. Shawky Allam –the Grand Mufti of Egypt-emphasized that the religious institution enjoys rich history in defending the Islamic nation and adopting a moderate methodology. During his meeting with the Minister of Religious Affairs in Albania, the Grand Mufti stressed that Azhari scholars throughout history with their great knowledge have played efficient role in spreading the culture of Islamic tolerance and preserving the religious identity of Egypt.

Furthermore, the Grand Mufti expressed Dar al-Iftaa's willingness in providing legal support for the Albanian Muslims through academic juristic training programs organized by Dar al- Iftaa domestically and internationally.

The Albanian Minister of Religious Affairs praised the role undertaken by Dar al-Iftaa, and highlighted the tolerance of Islam and its exhortation to kindness and coexistence.

He further emphasized that strictness threatens the pillars of Islam and levies false allegations against the Muslims. And that no one will be able to confront such methodology except the luminaries of Azhar.
