In a news statement issued on Wednesday, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawki Allam, vehemently condemned storming the courtyards of Al-Aqsa mosque by hundreds of Jewish settlers to perform Talmudic prayers under the intensive guarding of Israeli occupation forces.

Dr. Allam warned of danger of Israeli occupation forces' endless attempts to Judaize Jerusalem and tamper with its Arab Islamic identity.

The Grand Mufti further called upon the international community, Arab Muslim world, UN organizations, topped by UNESCO, and concerned authorities to interfere and stop the Israeli provocations constantly on rise against Al-Aqsa Mosque.
