In a news statement issued on Monday morning, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr.Shawki Allam strongly condemned storming the backyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque this morning by dozens of Jewish settlers to mark what they describe "the Destruction of the Temple".
In his statement, Dr.Allam stressed that such attacks on Jerusalem city and Al-Aqsa Mosque threat the stability and security of the entire region. He considered these heinous crimes as a plain challenge and clear provocation to the feelings of the entire Muslims.
In conclusion, the mufti renewed his call to the international community and international authorities to interfere to stop these attacks against Al-Aqsa. And to implement the global agreements and treaties that criminalize changing the demographics of the occupied lands.
