Egypt's Grand Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam received on Wednesday afternoon a high-level delegation from the Evangelical Church headed by the President of the Evangelical Community in Egypt, Pastor Andrea Zaki, to congratulate the Mufti on the occasion of ‘Eid al-Fitr.

During the meeting, Dr. Allam stressed that such important visits reflect the spirit of love and coexistence that distinguishes the Egyptian society’s fabric and attest to the unbreakable unity among Egypt’s Muslims and Christians.

From his part, Pastor Andrea Zaki congratulated the Grand Mufti on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and praised the efforts of Egypt’s Dar al-Ifta to combat terrorism and extremist ideologies.
