Dar al-Iftaa vehemently condemns the murder of a Japanese journalist by the bloodthirsty QSIS
With deep sorrow and aching heart Dar al- Iftaa condemns the beheading of the Japanese journalist, Kenji Goto, who was kidnapped by QSIS terrorist group in Syria. “This ruthless act of murder of an innocent person can only be committed by those who lost their sensibility and stripped off their humanity”, says Dr. Ibrahim Negm, the Senior Advisor to the Grand Mufti.
The new wave of indiscriminate hatred and unparalleled ruthlessness which kills, tortures, destroys and slaughters insanely innocent men, women and children of all ages, ethnicities, and religions reveal the ugly face of the terrorists’ disturbed mentalities, cruel hearts and demonic ideologies. Their horrific atrocity against humanity is doubled by their bold rootless claim of being associated with Islam. “A religion which built a great civilization, contributed immensely to the advancement of humanity and amicably encompassed different religions and various ethnic origins can in no way, shape or form give birth to such sickening ideologies”, added Dr. Negm.
Dar al- Iftaa warns young people against joining these terrorist groups as their warped ideologies are vehemently rejected under the name of all religions, ethics and humanity. “These blood thirsty terrorist groups lure half-educated, weak minded, semi- integrated young people to join their bloody activities to fulfill their despicable aims of gaining political power and land control”, says Dr. Negm.
Dar al- Iftaa on its part exerts all its efforts to deconstruct the warped ideologies of these terrorist groups and demystify their false arguments leveled against Islam along with spreading public awareness of the moderate teachings of Islam.
