Egypt’s Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam, arrived Kingdome of Saudi Arabia on Monday to participate in the conference titled “Russia and the Muslim World”.

The visit comes in response to a kind invitation extended to Egypt’s Mufti by HE Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud, Foreign Minister of KSA and Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan to take part in Russia’s conference that will be held in Jeddah.

This is the second time for KSA to host the conference since 2008 and it comes within the framework of its initiative to enhance interfaith and inter-cultural dialogue.
