Egypt’s Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam, arrived Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday, to participate in the Forum for Promoting Common Values among the Followers of Religions, being held under the umbrella of the Muslim World League.
Dr. Allam delivered the keynote speech on Wednesday and confirmed that Islam calls its followers to promote peaceful coexistence with people of different faith, and exhorts to respect and promote the common values in all heavenly revealed religions.
“There is no doubt that by promoting these common values, this world will be able to enjoy security, peace and tranquility in place of wars and conflicts. “Dr. Allam added.
