Egypt's Grand Mufti, President of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, participated in the twenty-third session of the Islamic Fiqh Council, affiliated with the Muslim World League, attended by muftis and senior scholars from the Islamic world and countries with Islamic minorities. The meeting was held from April 20th to 22nd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In his speech Dr. Allam emphasized that collective jurisprudence has become an indispensable principle that we cannot do without, especially as the Muslim Ummah is going through difficult circumstances. It is a general mercy for the Muslims worldwide and indeed for the whole world, which has expanded in its scope, faced various challenges, and encountered complex problems and intertwined issues.
