As part of his remarks on Egypt's Dar al-Ifta 7th international conference titled "Fatwa and Sustainable Development Goals", Senior Advisor to Egypt's Mufti and Secretary-General for the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, Dr. Ibrahim Negm, pointed out that fatwa and sustainable development goals correlate. 

Dr. Negm asserted that it is the role of the Mufti to highlight how Shari'ah emphasizes the strong relationship between humans and the surroundings and contributes to the construction of the earth.

"The sound Fatwa substantiates the objectives of Shari'ah and reflects the bond between man and environment," Dr. Negm said. 

Egypt's Dar al-Ifta 7th international conference will be held in Cairo from 17-18 October, 2022 under the auspices of H.E President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi.
