Senior Advisor to Egypt’s Mufti, Dr. Ibrahim Negm, delivered Friday sermon at the Islamic Center of USA’s NewYork.
Dr. Negm reiterated that Muslims living in USA have to build bridges of communication and cooperation between the Muslim world and the West.
“We have to take our precautionary measures against extremist discourse platforms that target our youth,” Dr. Negm warned. He also stressed the importance of protecting youth from falling a prey to extremist ideologies in the age of social media.
Dr. Negm arrived New York on Thursday in a visit started on Friday.
