Under the umbrella of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide,  Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta prepares for its eighth global conference on "Fatwa and the Challenges of the Third Millennium," with the participation of scholars and researchers from 90 countries.

In  a news statement issued on Tuesday, the Secretary-General for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, Dr. Ibrahim Negm stated the theme of this year's conference underscores the vital role of religious institutions and fatwa authorities in addressing the challenges facing our contemporary world, with all its complexities, and contributing to the establishment of proper frameworks for confronting these challenges. "The goal is to achieve justice, truth, security, peace, and prosperity for all of humanity," Dr. Negm added.

 The conference titled "Fatwa and the Challenges of the Third Millennium" is scheduled to take place from 18th to 19th October in Cairo, under the honorable patronage of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of Egypt. It will witness the participation of leading clerics, ministers, and scholars from 90 countries worldwide, along with high-level international organizations.
