As part of his speech at Uzbekistan's International Conference on "Bukhara's Everlasting Status in Islamic Civilization", Egypt's Grand Mufti, Dr. Shawki Allam, emphasized the remarkable contributions of the city of Bukhara toward the enrichment and preservation of Islamic scholarship and civilization, as well as the evolution of human civilization.

He praised the rich scholarly output of Bukhara, describing it as both astounding and honorable.

"Palestine remains the anchor cause for   Muslims since the brutal occupation in 1948, Dr Allam said.

He commended the Palestinian people for their pride and steadfastness in the face of ongoing displacement schemes and prolonged oppression. He called on All Arab and Muslim nations and governments to unite against malevolent powers
