The General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance intercultural and interfaith dialogue. This agreement, formalized by Dr. Ibrahim Negm, Secretary-General and Dr. Nihal Saad, Director of UNAOC during the Ninth Global Fatwa Conference, aims to develop projects that promote cultural understanding, reconciliation, and renewal of religious discourse. The collaboration will focus on youth, media, education, migration, and women, combating hatred and implementing the UN Plan of Action to protect religious sites. Both parties will share best practices and coordinate on international initiatives to foster a more peaceful and stable future.
