Receiving the reward of slave emancipation after the abolishment of slavery

Question

If slavery no longer exists, how can we get the reward of the emancipation of slaves?

Answer

Slave emancipation is one of the most praiseworthy acts of worship through which draws one near to God. Since slave emancipation no longer exists in modern times after the abolishment of slavery, it is possible to extend the meaning of the term beyond the level of denotation to include other interpretations. For instance, at present the term could very well apply to rescuing people from the darkness of ignorance and bringing them into the light of knowledge and education.
Other examples include saving someone from health threats, providing a homeless person with a house, saving a poor family from poverty, etc. The list is endless as all kinds of saving and rescuing people from danger are praiseworthy acts of emancipation that are abundantly rewarded by God Almighty.
And God Almighty knows best.
