His Eminence Prof. Dr. Nazir Mohammed Ayyad, Grand Mufti of Egypt and President of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, has arrived in Kuala Lumpur on an official visit at the invitation of His Eminence Sheikh Ahmad Fauwaz bin Ali Fadzil, the Federal Mufti of Malaysia.

He was received by H.E. Karim El-Sadat, Egypt’s Ambassador to Malaysia, along with officials from the Malaysian Islamic Affairs Council. During the visit, the Grand Mufti will meet with the Malaysian Prime Minister, the Minister of Religious Affairs, and several senior officials and scholars to discuss enhancing cooperation in the fields of fatwa, training, and scholarly exchange.
