Cairo continues to receive delegations of scholars, muftis, ministers, and religious leaders from around 80 countries participating in the 11th International Conference of Egypt’s Dar al-Ifta and the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, taking place on September 2–3 under the auspices of H.E. President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.

Among the prominent participants arriving in Cairo are Sheikh Musa Saidi, President of the Supreme Islamic Council of Zambia; Sheikh Abu Bakr Al-Zubair Mbwana, Mufti of Tanzania; His Eminence Sheikh Abu Bakr Sayyid Abdullah Jamal al-Lail, Mufti of the Union of the Comoros; Dr. Mamadou Kone, Minister of Religious Affairs of Mali; Sheikh Abdullah Mangala Luaba, Mufti of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and President of the Islamic Council; Sheikh Elder Mohammed Shin, Mufti of Estonia; Tomasz Miśkiewicz, Mufti of Poland and President of the Supreme Council of Muslims; and Dr. Mustafa Spahic, Mufti of Belgrade.

Held under the theme "Family Challenges amid Major Global Transformations,” the conference addresses the major political, economic, social, cultural, and digital transformations affecting families, exploring practical and fatwa-based approaches to protecting the family, strengthening its stability, preserving its identity, and shaping its future.
