Abu d'-Darda reported that Allah's messenger (PBUH) said: ''On the day of resurrection, nothing will weigh better in the scales for any of Allah's servants (True believers) than good character. Truly Allah detests the wicked and the foul-tongued''.

Abu Hurayrah reported that the messenger of Allah said: ''Amongst the believers, the most perfect in faith (Iman) is the best in conduct; and the best of you are those who are best to their families''.

Jabir related that the messenger of Allah said: ''the best of you in character will be among the best loved and those stationed closest to me one the Day of Judgment. The prattlers, the braggarts, and the mutafayhiqun will be the most detested by me and those stationed farthest from me in the Day of Resurrection''. {The Companions} enquired, ''Who are the Mutafayhqin?''. He replied, ''The arrogant''.
