The Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawqi 'Allam, received the Afghani Judges delegation headed by Abdullah 'Atta'i, advisor and vice president of Judiciary authority in Afghanistan, to enhance cooperation in the domain of issuing fatwas.

During their meeting, the Grand Mufti of Egypt agreed on providing training to the Afghani Judges with respect to the skills of issuing fatwas at Dar al-Ifta' al-Missiriyyah to prepare them for issuing fatwas in Afghanistan and as a contribution from Dar al-Ifta to spread moderate thinking and correct religion.

The Mufti likewise agreed on providing legal support to the Afghani Judges as well as all forms of support to the to meet the needs of researchers. This support includes providing the necessary education, training and guidance in all legal domains relevant to specialized fiqhi, scholarly and preparatory training programs organized by Dar al-Ifta al-Missiriyyah.
