Dr. Shawqi Allam, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, received today H.E. (Mr.) Leslie J. Baja, the Ambassador of the Philippines to Cairo, to discuss the means of promoting religious cooperation between Dar al-Ifta` and the Philippines.
 
Dr. Allam said that Dar al-Ifta` is willing to offer legal support to Muslim communities in the Philippines and to train muftis and imams in the craft of ifta`.
