The Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawky Allam, casted his vote on the constitutional amendments referendum in Nasr City, Cairo.
After casting his vote, the Grand Mufti said that Egypt is currently witnessing a decisive stage in its history during which its great people will decide their constitutional future by casting their votes on the amendments ratified by the constitutional amendment committee.
The Grand Mufti added that the turnout attests to the importance of this step which marks a new stage of hope and work that requires the unity of all sects of the Egyptian society. He called upon all Egyptians to fulfill their duty towards their country in a patriotic and civilized manner that will dazzle the entire world.
