Dr. Shawky Allam, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, announced his full support to the endeavors exerted by the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Dr. Ahmad Al-Tayeb, in resolving the tribal conflict in Aswan and achieving reconciliation between the disputing parties. This came the evening before Al-Tayeb’s anticipated visit to Aswan. The delegation included Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar Jum’a, the Minister of Religious Endowments.

The Grand Mufti expressed his wish that Allah the Almighty bring their hearts together and reconcile between the conflicting parties so they could work together towards the reformation of our society and the prosperity of Egypt.
